Note from Rose & Brian

Thank you for ALL of your prayers! We are truly thankful for each prayer lifted up. Jude is now on ECMO. We hope to visit him within the next hour or two after the many doctors check him out to make sure everything is ok and working correctly. Please continue to pray. We are so worried for our sweet boy.

  1. Many, many prayers for your Jude! My daughter Dakota was on ECMO and I know how scary that can look, how scary that is. It is a big scary machine, but it is a miracle maker. It was what got Dakota stabilized and gave her the rest she needed to get over the hump. She has no effects from it at all except for a tiny little scar on her neck that you can't even see. She is a healthy, smart almost 3 year old today! I am praying hard that you have the same miracle!

  2. Rose and Brian, and all those who love little Jude. I'm praying hard for you, and him. For God to give you amazing grace and peace and for Jude's condition to amazingly turn for the better very, very soon. God loves you with a steadfast love. He has a perfect plan for sweet Jude.
Nancy Ellis (and Drew) is bringing her 2 1/2 year old daughter Rebakah Grace for heart surgery at MUSC. Moved from next Wed. to Monday. She's a fellow Christian, with a lot of uncertainties too. Maybe you will see each other and be able to comfort each other through the fear and pain.

  4. I don't know your family, but came to your blog through a friend's. I've also had a child born with a birth defect (congenital heart defect) and I know the absolute fear and worry that you try to control with lots of prayer and faith as you navigate each day. I will definitely be someone else praying for your son.
