Off ECMO!!

Hi friends,
Just a quick post to let you all know that Jude's decannulation was successful and he is officially off ECMO! Thank you for praying for Jude, the doctors and nurses involved in this procedure.
We are truly thankful for this day! This morning we would have never thought that Jude would be off of ECMO this evening. We are so thankful for the work that the Lord has done in Jude's body today.
Please know that we continue to desire your prayers for Jude. This is an amazing step for our little guy but we also know that he has MANY more steps ahead of him. Please continue to lift him and his little body up in prayer. Thank you for being so faithful to pray for him and our family.

We will update you more when we can about the plan for Jude in the coming days!

Love,
Rose and Brian

  2. Praise the Lord!!! What great news! I was thrilled to read that Jude's heart function is so much better and the hypertension looks to be resolved. Rebekah has struggled with pulmonary hypertension her whole life, so I know what a relief it is for you that Jude doesn't appear to have that worry any more. Continuing to pray....

  3. You know all things Father God. We are giving You ALL the Glory in Jude's success today. We know he has far to go, but you are restoring him to be able to live on this earth and we thank You for answering our prayers and hearing our pleas. We thank You ahead of time for taking care of EVERY need Jude has. We also thank You for walking beside Rose and Brian and their family during this difficult time. Jude is so beautiful Father. Thank You for all the love pouring out to him through so many people. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen

  4. I know this is going to sound a little radical, but its true. I am currently at a conference called The Ramp in Dalton, GA. Thousands of people have gathered to worship and pray. On the drive to Dalton, I had your son on my heart and was in prayer for him for much of the 5 hour drive. I had read your last post and knew Jude's trial off of ECMO didn't go quite as well as it could have and my heart was heavy for you. At the worship Thursday night, I was still in deep prayer for your son and found myself on my knees pleading with God to intercede for him. At that moment, the worship leader said he felt a healing annointing on the place where we were worshiping. I had the greatest peace that God was going to heal Jude and I began to praise Him for it! Imagine my delight to check your blog tonight and see that Jude is off ECMO! God is so good and he wants to heal your baby! Praise you, Jesus. Our God is healer, awesome in power!

  5. So very, very thankful for the wonderful news about sweet Jude. Off ECMO, but also the huge blessing about the pulmonary hypertension. I keep praying about that. I'll keep praying for him, both of you, and Annabelle.

  8. That is wonderful news! I am so very excited for you all. That sweet baby is in my prayers as well as you. We were in the NICU with our CDH baby when he was born in August and he spent a lot of time on ECMO so I know how hard this all is. I am praising God for this progress and praying that Jude is able to have his repair surgery very soon!
